Take the Plunge II raises £5,000 for Hearing Dogs

Tuesday 12th September 2017

A newfoundland leaps into a lake in Gloucestershire at Take the Plunge 2

Wagging Tails second Newfoundfriends Rescue Day, "Take the Plunge 2", has raised £5,000.00 for our charity partners Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

"Take the Plunge 2" took place at the South Cerney Outdoor Education Centre near Cirencester in Gloucestershire and saw 30 volunteer "casualties" spectacularly rescued from a lake by specially trained Newfoundlands.

Feed back on the event was universally positive and everyone there had a great time;

"Just wanted to say a big thank you for our fantastic experience yesterday. The dogs were amazing and the trainers so supportive. The hearing dog talk was a great inside view and it's such a good charity to support"

Caroline and family.

"I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed taking the plunge on Saturday. Everyone was so welcoming, helpful, reassuring and made the day so special."

Sue, "casualty".

"I just wanted to say a massive thankyou to you and all your colleagues from Wagging Tails for organising such a wonderful event yesterday! You all worked so hard and raised so much money for my favourite charity Hearing Dogs for Deaf People!"

Anne and family.
