Hi Rhian,

Thank you so very much for finding the perfect holiday home for our French bulldog. He was so well cared for by Tracy and the experience was most definitely a home from home for him. Tracy is so obviously a dog lover and nothing was too much trouble for her. French bulldogs , as we know , can be quite determined and comical in their ways and Tracy had a great way of dealing with him.

When I collected him , I think he would have been more than happy to stay where he was and had also enjoyed the company of ‘Slipper’ , Tracy’s dachshund. On our first introduction we were both greeted warmly and I felt relaxed going on holiday, knowing he was in such good hands.

Max had his sniff and greet yesterday. All went well but had to write and say gosh what beautiful souls Kim and her husband are aren’t they. I had a cup of tea with them after the walk and they are so lovely and easy to talk to. It was such a great pleasure to get to meet them.

Jackson had an amazing time, he always does and he is so happy to see Helen and John when we drop him off.  

I never worry about him, Helen sends me pictures and videos.  We often think he seems sad when we get him home as he misses playing with Molly!

Our cocker spaniel, Molly, had a fabulous Christmas, being warmly welcomed into a lovely family home. She quickly bonded with Bunny, Shubu and Lyn and, as at home, soon had the run of the house, with plenty of cuddles and attention. As a dog very used to constant human company and as this was her first time staying away from home, we were reassured that she was being well looked after.

The pre-visit made it much easier to leave her on the actual day, and the photos and messages that we were sent during her stay were much appreciated.

We would highly recommend Bunny and Shuba as doggy foster-parents and would use them again without hesitation.

Alfie and Doris had a great holiday last week with Janet. We came back to happy, contented dogs and they clearly had a good time from the lovely photos from Janet. We will certainly want to repeat the experience and Janet seems pretty happy to have them back. 

We will get in touch in the New Year once we have some dates. It has been a pleasure to work with such an efficient and well organised company. Thank you Alexis and also to Janet who we thought was absolutely wonderful.

Hi Alexis,

I thought Kathryn and her family were a great match for Izzy plus Kathryn updated me every day with Izzy’s adventures which was a huge relief when this was the first time I had left her for 7 and half years. I could tell by Kathryn's comments that Izzy was behaving just as she does at home.

I am really glad that I contacted you and found Wagging Tails which I would recommend to any dog owner wanting good care for their dogs while they were away. We will definitely be contacting you next time we go away as Izzy deserves a holiday too!

Thank you for putting us in contact with Sally, Ian, and Tom. They were absolutely brilliant and did a magnificent job of looking after Lola. It was so reassuring to know that she was looked after so well. They were clearly experienced dog-lovers with an affection for dogs but they were also exceptionally lovely people!

We would very much like them to look after Lola again when we are next away and if they are available.

My name is Molly and I am an 8-year old miniature schnauzer. I was very poorly when I was a puppy and had to have a major operation on my stomach which has left me a little fragile and with a number of allergies.

In 2022 when the lady I used to go on holiday to retired, my Mummy and Daddy had to find someone new to look after me and were recommended to try Rhian at Wagging Tails. They were really worried I wouldn’t like it but Rhian reassured them and understood their concerns so they filled out the application forms (I don’t understand paperwork but it took a while for my Mummy to do it all because it wanted to know everything about me - my likes, dislikes, habits, and idiosyncrasies).

After I had been accepted, we all went for a ‘meet and greet’ at Rhian’s house and I loved it…….plenty of outside space to run around in and a lovely house to live in while I was on my holidays! It made my Mummy and Daddy happy that I would be absolutely fine.

I have now been going on my holidays to Rhian for nearly 4 years and it is like my second second home (my first second home is where my best friend Milli lives!!). I am well looked after, fed and watered, regularly walked, get lots of snuggles on the sofa, and if I get really itchy and irritable Rhian gives me my special tablets. Rhian also regularly sends my Mummy and Daddy photos and videos so they know I am okay and, when they come to pick me up I am so happy to see them and go home but also a little bit sad to leave my surrogate Mum!

My Mummy and Daddy say that they can’t recommend Wagging Tails and Rhian highly enough - if you are reading this and are unsure, don’t hesitate to contact Rhian because your precious dogs couldn't be in better, safer hands and you couldn’t wish to meet a nicer, kinder and more caring person than Rhian.
